The & Sons part
Sam started Murillo & Sons in 2008 with one truck and a pull-behind trailer. The boys came up doing this work on weekends through high school — pulling weeds, raking granite, loading the trailer when their dad was on the mower.
18 years later they run their own routes. Same last name. Same trailer (mostly). Same way of doing the work — show up the morning we said we would, do the boring foundational stuff right, leave the gate latched and the driveway blown.
“The customers are watching. They tell us they can spot the truck from two streets over.”

What we do
Standing yard service, irrigation repairs, tree work, and junk removal across Peoria and the NW Valley. We do the boring foundational stuff right so your yard keeps looking good between visits.

The dead bougainvillea is almost always a clogged emitter. We find the line, replace the head, reset the controller, and walk every zone with you.
starts at $125 · per visit
Mesquites, palo verdes, queen palms, ficus — shaped, lifted, and skinned the right way, not the lion-tailed mess the chain crews leave behind.
starts at $150 · per visit
Overgrown rentals, post-monsoon mess, tenant-left piles — cut, bagged, and hauled in one visit. No piles left at the curb.

Patio pavers and pet-safe artificial turf — proper base, polymeric sand, edges that stay put through Phoenix summers.
starts at $1800 · per visit
Right plant, right zone — agave, lantana, red yucca, desert spoon — installed where they will thrive, not just look good the day we leave.

Wind-thinned, sun-faded, or weed-infested DG topped, raked, and bordered so the front reads tidy from the sidewalk.

Gate latches, fence boards, hose-bib swaps, the irrigation timer that never quite worked — small fixes the family already brings tools for.

How it works
We try to make hiring us boring in the best way — predictable, quiet, the kind of yard service you forget to think about because it just happens every week.
We come out, listen to what you want, and look at what the yard actually needs. No high-pressure quotes, no surprises, no upsell on stuff you didn’t ask about.
You get a flat per-visit price the same day — handwritten on the back of a Murillo & Sons card if you want it that way. That number is what shows up on the invoice.
Once we start, the same Murillo trailer shows up the same morning every week. Quiet equipment, gate latched on the way out, walks blown clean. The dogs learn our truck.

Most of these are standing customers. The yard looks like this between our visits — that’s the point.

In their words
NW Valley neighbors who put up with us pulling up the same morning every week, summer and monsoon both.
Sam and his sons came out the same week I called. Mesquite was hanging into the neighbor’s yard and the HOA had been on me about it. They trimmed it the right way, hauled the brush, and the citation went away. They text back fast and the price was the price.

Family-owned, and you can tell. Same truck every visit, the boys actually know my dogs by name now, and they switched to a different weed treatment in the back because of it. Vistancia neighbors keep asking who does my yard.

I called four landscapers when our drip system died last August. Sam was the only one who actually walked every zone with me, showed me which emitters were clogged, and reset the controller for the summer schedule. The bougainvillea came back.
